Brian ... you want to go on 10S? I think the GP Chippie might be best flown on a 160 sized EP. Why? Well:

i. the Chippie may be touching about 14-15 lbs on EP so power with the 110 motor might be so so only if you run on 8S

ii. the extra power on the 160 sized motor and 10S will be good as the Chippie is not light, GP guys are flying her with bigger motors

iii. you will want some extra weight up front to help out on battery placement and CG

I am planning on doing one, if a good fuse ever gets here. I bought one and the fuse was damaged in shipping. The shop is trying to get a good one for me, though. I have been flying a Hyperion 70E version and just love the flying characteristics and the way it looks in the air. Those low inverted passes are wonderful. :D

Mike ... I love my Hyperion SC 70 ... she flies nice and looks very pretty in the air. Too bad the GP one cannot be exported ... I always love Super Chipmunks, converted the WM one too.

There was a guy out at the local field with a 100+" 3W SC last weekend. Talk about huge and lots of power with an 80cc gas engine.
