Hey don

Your motors rock!

Your motors are the best bang for the buck and the most consistent quality of all the budget screamers!

picked up a few more motors a while back and am working them now- finally!

bought the one of each of the park jr motors that are set up to mount on the nose with the shaft out the bell and need to change it around so the shaft is coming out of the mount side . .

Having two issues

1) no mounting screws came with these motors and I have tried just about everything I have in my box of goodies and cant find the right match . . . .what is correct?

2) can you get the shaft off and turn it so that it comes out the other side? if it can be done . . . how do you get the shaft off --esp that darn little c clip!

The screws are 2.5mm in size. You can get them at a hobby shop or I can send you some as I havethem now. They use to be 3mm then were changed to 2.5mm which is an annoying size. As far as removing the clip, I stick the tip of an Xacto in the slot and twist it, then they will pop off the shaft. You can reverse the shaft by loosening the set screw on the bell by the shaft then pressing the shaft forward. In fact you can leave the clip on and push the shaft forward some to make getting to the clip easier.

Suggestion: use a gallon plastic bag to do the clip removal / installation in just in case it becomes airborne with out the motor !
Some people call them 'Jesus clips'...because only He knows where they end up once on their own ! HTH. art
