Hello,

does anyone have any experience with MP2128HELI from micropilot.com ?

or any other of their products ?

I would like to implement it on a X-BL frame to see how it will work . but i have found no real world users of this product .

The 2028 fixed-wing does exactly what is says on the tin, no problems in dozens of flights. Generally good support from Micro-Pilot too.

Check with Rotor F/X (www.rotorfx.com), they use and implement the MP2128h and other most other autopilot systems for their customers.

W eonly used the 2028 in MP's own airframe already integrated, but 'tweaked' it a bit.

I am currently using a 2128g fixed wing Auto Pilot. Fairly easy to use and very robust. Support is very good. Have had some issues with their ground control software but nothing that keeps you from flying. They have been very responsive to fixing but that we have found in their software. May not be the easiest Auto Pilot to integrate into your own system but as long as you have a little familiarity with integration I would go for it.

I met a few folks from Australia at a training that I went to. They did not seem to have a problem getting one exported.

I tried to get a pico from u-nav, told me US gov. considers it "military technology" and needs an export license to South Africa. But http://www.microboticsinc.com IMU I can import from Australia after they in turn get it from the US.

Micropilot don't even answer my e-mails, would you be so kind as to post/PM me the contact of anybody in Australia that I can pay ASAP to my Micropilot ground station and IMU unit.

We in South Africa have a disaster with the crime problem , a UAV fitted with a http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/ThermalImagingCameras is the obvious solution to preventing crime. For some of you UAV's are entertainment, for us in South African war zone it is a matter of life and death.
