Bent Carbon Spar Joiner

Looking for some help here. I saw a post about making bent CF spar joiners by threading epoxy saturated CF tow through a bent aluminum tube and then dissolving the aluminum off when the epoxy cured.

I can't find this thread in the archives or the net.

Has anyone else seen this post? Can you point me to it?

Do you really want a bent joiner? They tend to rotate and then your tips don't match up with the center section.

I've made flat CF joiners that were "bent" by making balsa molds and they worked fine, I was just curious about the lost form technique for aluminum.

I've gone with straight for now and will consider this for my next build.
