Well, I wanted one now have it! :p I took the gear from a Storm Launcher and built me an airboat from Blu-Core skinned with 3mm Depron. It's fast and fun...... :D Bout time a Cajun transplanted to North Mississippi gets an Airboat! Not done yet, just couldn't wait to try it out. :o Gonna sand it smooth, then paint it! :)

Those electronics are gonna get mighty wet...
From my fairly limited experience with bluecore airboats, their preeettttyyy speedy. I have one question about your props- Are they counter-rotating or do the both spin the same way?

Jeepers- I live in Columbus, Ms. Originally from N.O. Moved before Katrina thought.
Mac- They are counter-rotating, the rx is sealed in a plastic bag, gonna make a depron box for my batts (sealed). Came from a Airhog Storm Launcher, which got dunked many times. :p
Gonna try to get some video tomorrow after work.

Bigger pool, or a smaller boat! LOL, too it to the local lake, might need to move the CG forward some. She tried to backflip at full throttle.

Ok, had such good luck with my foamie airboat, decided to build a wooden one upsized. :p Gonna use a Scorpion clone Bl swinging a 10*8-ish prop. I got the frame done, waiting on it to dry, before I can plank it.
