Anyboby have a set of drawings for a winch? Any scale, I'll adjust to fit my workboat. I'm not looking for a working winch per se.

I did a quick search and came up with these sites. You may glean enough info from the photos and tech sheets to build a respectable winch.

Harbor Models use to offered a working version of CAN101 it was not listed in the catalog but in their price book it was around $79.95 (a couple years ago) call Dave @ Harbor and see if he still carries it.

You ever find a website that was perfect for what you needed, than you can never find it again? Last year I found a site for deck gear that had perfect drawings of the winches they offered. I can't remember the name of the company or locate the site in a search. Tried for a half hour using metacrawler, Google, and Yahoo. It is beginning to tick me off.

Great Links. I'll have to bookmark them on my laptop. The Anchor Windlass on that Banghai site looks just like the double drum rigging windlass on my Midwest Trawler. I bet I could use that drawing to add a few little goodies here and there -- (or get that last winch on the Harbor Models site, if it is the right size -- the site gives dimnensions but not a scale; I'll have to measure the one on the boat).
