Hi all,
I've constructed several (non rc) models but I always wanted to build an RC
Submarine. I've been thinking about Akula Class... Anyone can help me about
this? I don' know where to find detailed plans for the construction. First
of all I must build the internal structure (navigation system and diving
system...)
Thanx

Just as an idea: Engel in Germany have a kit of the Akula.
have a look at http://www.engel-modellbau.de/Runtime/myshop_engl/index.html for their sub-
kits. They also sell diving systems etc.

How far under water does the radio penetrate? I can see someone losing radio
contact. Just curious.

you MUST go to this site -it has everything from how deep to how much to pay for a kit to how long till seaworthy, more user friendly than the subcommitte site in my opinion.
