AT21141 Art-Tech F4U Corsair RTF
39-1/2" wingspan, 33" long, 285 sq. in. wing area, 25 oz. flying weight. The fuselage and wing are molded high-density bead foam. The stabilizer and rudder are heat molded foam with a tough, smooth surface, all pre-hinged and pre-painted. The entire airplane is pre-finished with the servos and electronics pre-installed. Includes a brushless outrunner motor and a brushless speed control, all pre-installed and ready for use. The 3-bladed prop (there are 2 included) gives the Corsair a great scale appearance. The landing gear easily plugs in and is easily removed if you want to fly without wheels. The assembly takes about an hour; the tail with steerable tail wheel is installed and screwed in place. The main wing is ready to use after plugging the aileron servos into the pre-installed receiver. Charge the 3 cell LiPo battery pack with the included lithium safety charger (12 volt battery or power supply required) and install 8-AA batteries (sold separately) in the 72 MHz 4-channel transmitter, and you are ready to go fly. The Corsair has very predictable and gentle flying manners and is suitable as a second RC airplane. The flying speed of the Corsair is moderate with the big 3-bladed prop; take-offs and landings are a joy to perfect. The foam construction is durable and if broken is easily repaired with 5-minute epoxy. Flight times are 10-15 minutes per battery charge.
