I've inherited a cheap two channel electric powerboat, which looks like
the "SS Minnow". I use it to blast around the fountains in front of the
building where I work. It uses the typical mechanical speed control,
made as cheaply as possible.

Where do I get replacements? Yes, I know I could replace it with a
spiffy modern solid state ESC, but I don't want to spend that kind of
money.

Thanks,
Ken

Most probabbly a hobby shop that has RC cars some of the cheaper ones have
them.

Try a Tamiya unit for the Clod Buster R/C trucks, should be available from your local hobby shop for under $20.00

Heavy duty so it should last for a while and is designed for dual motors.
