Dear Magic 8-Ball, will my Hobby Lobby order which I put in 2 weeks ago, upgraded to 2nd day air middle of last week, and have spoken to no less than 3 people about since Monday, arrive at my doorstep today?
Answer: Ask Later.

OK, so now I am officially pissed off.
I ordered this part like 2 weeks ago. I ordered it with 2 other parts. Couple days go by and I realize I never got the shipping email. Log a ticket. No response. Call them, they apologize and blame it on the new ordering system. Fair enough, stuff happens, so I say "OK, can you bump up the shipping to 2nd day?"
"Sure!"
I get the order last Friday. The part in question is not included. Log a ticket. Again, no response. Call them Tuesday. "Sorry, bec it was a special order part it got lost in the shuffle. We'll get it out ASAP". Fair enough, plenty of time to get it by Friday (today).
Again I realize that I never got a shipping email. Call them on Wednesday, say, "ummm, never got the email"
"Oh, because it was special order it probably didnt generate one, don't worry, it went out yesterday." Cool, I feel relieved.
10 minutes later I get an email from someone else saying that it DIDN'T go out Tuesday, they got backed up and it will go out today.
Here it is Friday, no part. Guess I ain't flying this weekend.
So to sum up I ordered a part 2 weeks ago, I paid for it, as well as for 2nd day air on it, and I still don't have it. Angry.
Now, having said that, I am not about to go postal cuz I didnt get a part for my toy. There are bigger things to worry about in my life. BUT, I am effectively being ripped off as of now and WHATEVER is going on over there in TN, they need to fix it. I am sure I'll get it eventually, but who knows how many times I'll have to call to get it.

This systems conversion is the toughest thing we've had to go through in a long while. Once we get all the bugs worked out, we'll be shipping faster than ever before with much greater accuracy. All, the part arrived sometime this weekend. I think my temper got the best of me on Friday. I feel like I need to eat some crow here.
Anyway, to be sure I would have liked the part here sooner but at the end of the day if something is a couple days late then I really think that sort of thing is forgivable.
I guess I would say there are 2 possibilities at HL right now. Either they know there is a problem and are sitting on their butts just hoping things will work out or they know there is a problem and are doing their best to fix it. I firmly believe now that it is definitely the latter. Judging by Jason's post and his PM to me, I think we can be confident that this shipping stuff is a temporary thing and not indicative of a long term change in customer service.
Also, in my case, to be fair I should have mentioned that the part I ordered was outside the normal catalog and that combined with the new shipping system issue, it's not surprising that there might have been a delay.
Anyway, I do not foresee changing my shopping habits. I will def buy from HL again.
