Hey guys,

I have an X-Flight F-16 that I was going to maiden flight yesterday.
I am running the Mega Fan and motor combo, I'm not sure now exactly what the numbers are for it but I do know that there were two options with the mega motors, and I have the faster, 5100kv motor.
I am running only two brand new JR 9gram servos.
I have a 1700Mah 14.8v battery with a dualsky 40A esc.
A link to the dualsky site....http://www.dualsky.com/main.asp?mainset=29

Now heres what happened. I was at the field and was connecting everything together and tested my throttle. Thrust felt very good, except when I went from about two thirds throttle and up wards, the tailerons went out of control into full lock and opposite to each other. As soon as the throttle was dropped they returned to their neutral position. So I then tested it with a 3s battery and the same thing happened.

So the plane was very unflyable. I am thinking that the esc under load is not providing power to the servos properly?
I don't think disabling the bec and running separate power is an option because of space and weight restraints. So I'll probably get an esc which I know can supply power to servos on four cell. I just want a few opinions on whether anyone thinks that this is the problem or whether it could be something else before I go and buy a new esc. Or whether the esc I have should be enough for the plane?

Thanks in advance for your help, James
