Saturday Sailing...

I was up in Gig Harbor at Meyer's pond this weekend.
It was more of a test set up and construction of a tarp barrier.
We needed to set something up to catch stray ball bearings should
they decide to wander over to a new home that was built at the
West end of the pond.

The few of us that made the trip each managed a sortie or two
of gunnery before the end of the day. Q took the time to instruct
Mr. Meyer's grandson in the gunners chair.

We are supposed to have a RC battle group around SE Queensland but they seem to be very quiet. I believe they were active a few years ago.

Its amazing how quickly kids pick up stuff it takes adults years to perfect.

I can't wait to see the 'wireless' hand gyro interfaces for our radios. People think we look goofy now, just wait until we're spinning in place to get a turret to turn, flipping our hands out to fire and makeing 'Pow Pow!' sounds... :D

(This being different from moving our thumbs and making those 'Pow Pow!' sounds...)

I thougth these guys were quiet, I received a phone call from a scout leader worried about an event conflict, anyhow I looked them up again and found this.
