Anyone Built Dumas Whitehall?

Has Anyone Built a Dumas Whitehall?
I just got a kit for next to nothing and was wondering if anyone had any tips or mods for this. Looks like with a little work and some Scale Shipyard fittings it can be made into quite a respectable little model.
