I'm sure I saw someone wanting one of these a while back?
I found one on ebay, just thought I'd give a shout about it.

Just shows that there are still a few unbuilt ones around. A real floater.
More info on the Sunrise is here if anyone is interested: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=776158&page=9

PS:The Albatross is hibernating at the moment, hope to get back on it soon.

Call me greedy but I actually brought two of these on eBay last year for nostalgia's sake. This was the first R/C thermal glider I ever flew and it really was a lovely floater for calm summer days.
Just started building the first one. My usual flying sites don't really have the space for a full size bungee; I'm thinking of making a power pod and using a smallish lipo/brushless setup with a folding prop for launches. Not sure whether this will add too much drag for me to enjoy thermalling on a lazy summers afternoon. Any thoughts?

Worth a try, keep us posted. Build log?!! I like to see how other builders do it.
My Sunrise is safe in the loft with the 95% finished Albatross.
Cheers
