Capsized Airboat..

Hi,i made an airboat last week from a few spare bits i had laying about in the shed
An axi 2820/10 motor
12x6 apc e prop
40amp cc esc
2200mah 3s lipo.
..and a pink body board (not my first choice in colours) :D
Took it out to the sea near where i lived but after a few mins i managed to tip it over. Is there anything i can do to the shape to avoid this. Its quite top heavy so i think thats what cause it.. Was thinking about putting some catermarang stlye floats off the edge. Does go well though about 350watts of power.

im not sure why it would tip over unless it got hit by a wave or blown over as it looks quite light test it onur road or in a park or some flat surface so that we dont have waves to contend with then if you have a local park when it rains if it flods you park test it there to see if it works over water as in told some hovercrafts arn't so good on the water
