Hey! well Im getting ready to leave for IRCHA, My Joker 3DD heli is ready for the trip. I will post pictures & videos of this heli thursday afternoon.

heres the scoop yall! As you cant read on minicopters site, Joker 3DD has 2 motors ,
32-3 running main head only on 12S 3850s
Hacker A30 770 KV on 4S 2600s running through a Kontronics 40-6-18 in GOV mod running at the RPMs you need for your style of flying. The Hacker is mounted right above the big 134t main gear coupled straight ot the torque tube . you still run a tail gyro and servo like all the other machines.
im also testing out a proto Probar with this Proto Joker 3DD, A gain of 25% more power going straight to the main blades :D YEH! Thanks Gerd and Eco8gator I will be testing out the machine in the morning ( sat ) hope to have videos soon

But having looked at the site.
Which way is it set up. The pictures show the tail motor in two different directions ?

Side mount is for belt drive, in line for torque tube.

Don't think its for everybody, cool concept. I think a Direct drive tail like Tabb talked about over at RR would be cool for a front mount AP heli. Low head speed with good tail authority.

hey , yes theres 2 versions as you see , David ! a Minicopter team pilot! Good one too! David has the version with the belt drive, the way the motor mounts, the belt doent have a twist in it . I have alot of videos , but I cant upload from my cousins computer :confused: but I can get the pictures uploaded to it

hey, if you will be getting the Joker 3DD with torque tube, Gerd saaid the Kora 1514 has been the best motor for the tail that they have tried. Great news too, the Hacker works good , but I can stall it easy against the main torque of the blades.
well after hearing this news , Just what I was waiting on, I installed ( 1516 )mine to try , heres some pictures of the proto type mount I have

hey , here's alittle update on my heli, couply of months ago , I sent my joker down south to eco8gator ( the probar man). He's had a blast with it and installed a few updates to the probar for the better. Well , I had to have a little surgery and desided to recoop in the south in Mississippi . Then traveled down to fla. To fly my heli and to take it off Carlos hands. Man does it fly better too. Have the new X-Era 4030-2.5Y that runs circles around the actro 32-3. I also got some rare videos of Carlos flying it as well as his nitro flybarless rappy 50 that also kicks butt. I have to wait till I get too ms to render the videos though. Had a great time hanging out with other heli pilots that was really needed. My winters are very hard on me.
Also next weekend if the weathers holds out. I'm planning to heading to HCs house to fly the weekend with him at blacksheep. Yeh! Should be a blast

Well it sounds like the surgery went well. Their is no better way to recoop :)
