I am using RealFlight G4 simulator with Futaba 9 CAP, this works for me when I try using an airplane, but when I try choosing helicopter, I can never get the throttle going. Can this problem be remedied? How I need to calibrate my control? When it offers to calibrate, it shows 8 channels and only 6 work.

I don't own a 9C but i have help a friend program one.
Make sure that the model you are using is setup as airplane with standard wing and tail (1 servo each).
I'm guessing by default that only Channels 1 - 6 are active for a basic model.
You can go into the setup menus and activate channels 7-8 and assign them each to a switch, dial or lever.
If you look at the channel assignment menu of G4 you will see the channels moving when it's setup correctly.
You will need to recalibrate when you've activated the 2 new channels.
I just when through the same routine with my 12FG and it's working great for me now.
