I gota ask why you guys changed the store hours? I was in the area this weekend helping a buddy move to Brentwood and swung by to get some parts for my Dragonus. You were closed. Why close at 2 on Saturday especially after the big grand opening of the new store front. I know you are open till 6 on the weekdays now, by that does not help much. Most people can only get there and the weekends and now your only open till 2 on Saturday and still closed Sunday? I understand that your guys probably want to fly on Sat, but you run a business.

I promise we were not out flying! We did an bunch of looking out our retail counter and the large majority of the sales were between 10 and 2 on Saturday - after that very few people came in the door. We tried to balance it by staying open later during the week (we got a ton of complaints about rushing to get her by 5:00) and we will be doing extended hours again this holiday season.
My apologies for any problems on Saturday and thank you for your business. We'll work hard to try and keep it.
Thanks, Jay
P.S. Really, we were not blocking off the parking lot to to fly!

You are correct --I could not come in because the doors were locked. Is Hbby Lobby a retail business?

Yes, they are a mail order company, but they do have a small store front that you can go to. I usually go in with a copy of the catalog and start buying stuff that way haha.
Jay, thanks for the reply and I understand you reasoning. Sorry if I cameo off harsh in my OP. I was just wondering and slightly frustrated. I am going to come today, hopefully, if traffic doesn't causes me to take more than an hour to get from Antioch.

Now if enough people complain about Saturday afternoons, then they'll extend the hours like they did for weekdays where they got "a ton of complaints". You expect them to run a business, and this is exactly what they're doing. If the average is that only one customer comes in and maybe buys $10 worth of gear Saturday afternoons but they burn $40 in staff wages in maintaining those hours, it's insane for them to stay open for those hours regardless of how vociferous one or two customers get.
A business is a business, and it's really not about making every single customer happy... it's about keeping as many customers as they can happy while maintaining profitability.

No problem at all! We want the feedback and appreciate your business. Hopefully the new 6:00 weekday closing time will help out.
Thanks, Jay

Oh I will be there tonight after work. I get off at 5 and I work only about 10 miles from you guys so I should be able to make it. I will probably drop about 75 bucks on stuff so that should help with the extra man hours ;)
On a side note: Do you have a set of aluminum handled screwdrivers? Like just Phillips, not hex? I could not find nay in the site or catalog, but I would like a set if you have one. I plan on getting the Hex set today and would love a matching set.
