I am in search of a basic autopilot system in Europe.

The system needs to be capable of basic tasks; I would like to program X # of waypoints, fly beyond line of sight autonomously and return home to be taken over via manual control. Takeoff and lading will be done with a Futaba 2.4GHz system.

I am also looking for a "long range" video system that has decent resolution; I would like it to be real time if possible. The Waypoints will be programed to not go further then the capability of the video system.

The goal here is, to show very basic autonomy with decent video to watch during the flight.

Would anybody be able to send me in the right direction?

Any help would be appreciated.

You came to the right place here on RCGroups. Lots of viable solutions at various price points, and many projects underway on the cusp of being available for purchase or as open-source.

Does this aircraft have a lot of built-in stability (highly polyhedral wings) or nuetral stability? There are pro and cons of each. Very stable planes with high wings + polyhedral only require the simplest of autopilots for rudder-only navigation and altitude control via throttle, but these planes are thrown around by wind. Nuetrally stable planes require a lot more active stabilization from the autopilot, but fare the wind a lot better in my experience.

Many people on here can give you very specific shopping lists of what to get depending on your needs.
