I'm seriously considering the new 74" Corsair by KMP (Kondor Model Products)
Any feedback on the quality of these ARF's? Seem expensive, want to make sure it's worth it.
Thanks

Try the cmp 76" corsair. Have one flying powered with a crrc 26. Great looking and flying airplane. You can get more info at http://www.rconlysite.com

Thanks for the link. Was the quality high? ie good solid construction, fiberglass parts? Landing gear solid? covering tight, or paint flawless?
I don't really dig the ARF scene, I'd rather build, but I know these ARF's have come a long way (At least some of them have)

The quality is as good as a kmp. One of the guys at our field built the kmp skyraider which does not fly as well as the corsair and he was disapointed in the quality of the kit for the money. You can buy the cmp corsair and the engine for less than kmp wants for just the airplane. Retracts are century jets and they bolt right in.

RE: stuntal54
this is the rconlysite guy
This guy is fraulent. I have tried to purchase apiper cub from him and have seen or heard nothing. Even though the delivery is to Australia and he has said many times that there are delays, he does not provide an update and cannot tell me even an approximate time. It has been 4 months now and he has taken my money and simply run.
I have called him by phone to try to discuss and the last time I got abused.
I have tried everything possible and all I am after is a date for delivery.
His customer service is the worst I have seen ever.
He has been banned from other sites and has changed his name username on these sits recently to continue advertising. I dont thik this post will last lon as he will most likely delete it.
I will be taking legal action agaist him so let this be a warnig to everyone else. Avoid the rconlysite web site and its products like the plague.
The domain is registered to Barry Cohen but it looks like he doesny exist so be warned.

Thanks for the tip. I had my doubts. Still think the KMP stuff is high quality.

I know both brands very very well. CMP is still in the low quality, lousey scale lines stage. Although their new 109 looks like they may be coming out of this stage.
Kmp stopped producing junk about 3-4 years ago and now their stuff is actually pretty damn good. I don't like to promote them , however, due to the lousey customer service I have gotton from "Paul" on several occasions on completley different circumstances.

1)as stated I have both and love CMP but there is no comparison , KMP is simply a better product and I love value so I am not a KMP snob , I like basking arfs and for that CMP serves my needs , but the new Corsair is so above the CMP that you would not even call the CMP a corsair when sitting next to the KMP .
2)trust me , its not only about the nice scale candy coating and details , its the simple things , the kmp wing center section is major composite ,the paint is scale , the fuse has very little flex and well supported with bulkheads , the tail group mounting arae in the fuse is level , the wing mounting rails for retracts are exactly the way I would build them , I can go on and on .
As far as customer servace , I think Paul simply lacks details and follow up , but email them and ask for Kat , she is fantastic , she will emial you with any detail you need .
excellant follow up
