just got one a 3300 7.4v 25c it says on it that 25c is the same as 82.5a so should this mean that i need an 100a speed controller

Not exactly. The speed control is dictated by the load required. The C rating on the battery is the current available.

You'll have to size your ESC using your motor's projected amp draw. You'll have to pick a motor/prop/fan combo that will work with your batteries amp draw capabilities
