Cannot Update Firmware

I have tried to update my FCO2 but no matter what I do I just can't get it to update. I have followed the instructions by others on the forum and I get a "new hardware found" but that's as far as it goes. I don't get anything about downloading drivers or anything else. The computer will not recognize the camera only the sd card. I was able to use the camera to record and it plays back but I just can't get get it to update. Can the camera be used as it is to record w/o any problems? I just don't know what more I can do to try and get it to update. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Hi Roger,
You should be good to go on using it right out of the box. I would go ahead and try a test recording with it. If you have a problem and need to update the firmware, you can reach our tech support at http://www.hobby-lobby.com/support/case.htm They have a lot of experience helping customers with the update process.
