I have a DX6 radio and a twin-prop boat, each prop with its own ESC.
Is there any way I can mix the rudder and throttle signals on my DX6 to speed up one prop and slow the other prop down when turning?
If someone out there figured out how to do this, please let me know...

hi john, yes you can but I think its on the RIGHT hand stick not the left. engage ELEVON or V-TAIL mixing. if you can, select one of the other stick operation modes, (mode 3 on Futaba radios) to do a "stick swap". this makes the radio think that the left stick is ch1 and 2, right stick 3 and 4, (normal has 1 and 2 on Right stick - 3 and 4 on Left stick).

dont know how you program the DX6 as I use Futaba gear

Ghost 2501,

Thanks for the information. It worked great... haven't figured out how to switch the stick yet, but I'll look it up.
I really need to read the manual and find out how the mixing feature works; I'm relatively new to this.

just make sure that your servo reverses are set up. if you are using left and right handed propellers, make sure your motors contra-rotate when running line ahead and line astern, and rotate the same direction when using your motors to spin your boat.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl6F2uShrbQ this is my Yamato, which uses tx mixing ELEV with rudder slaved to the mix as well. radio is in mode 2

Ghost, you said "just make sure that your servo reverses are set up." Not sure if I understand that; can you elaborate?

Thanks

On the DX6 the sticks are hard wired at the factory so you have to buy as mode 1 or mode 2. Nothing is impossible but to change you would have to swap the stick wires and mod a jumper that switches the software mode.
