For a winter activity I want to build an RC scale model of my boat.
Having no experiance as a boat modeler whatsoever I am looking for
starting points. (I did buyild several RC planes, so there is some
experiance here).
I am sure you guys can give me some web sites to start with.
Answers I am looking for are:
The scale effect, I know it is impossible to scale all parameters.
What should I do to have the end result look like the real thing and
still be able to sail her. Weight, balast, etc.
How are the RC controls put in, is there a separate servo for the jib
or is there some genial sulution to control both main and jib with a
single servo?
What model materials replace the real ones best. The real one is a
made of ply wood and epoxy. (wood core building method)
etc. etc.
