You know, I just love the negative feedback he got. This is an ebayers
worst nightmare and I'm not talking about the buyer either. The seller
clearly states the conditions of the shipping and by bidding on it you are
accepting his terms. If you don't like it, then don't bid on it.....it's
that simple. If I put an auction up for something and state what the
shipping will be, then you bid on it and then complain that the shipping was
too much, that would not be my problem, but I end up with the negative
feedback though.

This guy IS a nightmare.. i emailed him about an auction before.. the guy is
like soooooo excitable and rude. He did several things that are uncool.
1. he overcharges for shipping... and Patrick, he does not clearly state the
conditions of the shipping really.. he gives like all these details but
doesn't say "Shipping is $6.00 add $3.00 if you want insurance" its like all
wishy washy and shit. so yeah if he asks for $20 to ship after auction ends
for a $8 item yah im gonna bitch.
2. when i emailed this dood about something, he said to me "if you leave
negative feedback for me you will get negative feedback from me" basically a
threat. using feedback as leverage to disuade me not to give him neg
feedback even before i bid!!!
3. the guy tried to sell me an item after it ended outside of ebay below the
reserve price without using ebay's system... so he's trying to cheat ebay.
those are all dishonest things... so if he's dishonest there, why would i
trust him anywhere else?

Well then I can see why he has received the negative feedback he has then.
When I put an Auction up I clearly state what the shipping will be and
insurance is always included. The only time I don't include insurance is
when it ships over seas, then the buyer can either pay for it or take their
chances. I usually ship UPS and only sometimes USPS. Also, I usually post
a set price for shipping which covers the shipping costs as well as the
packaging.
As far as offering things after the auction is over, I guess it depends on
what he is offering. I've sold a lot of my Vintage RC stuff and then sold
hop-ups and radio equipment to the same person after the Auction has ended
just as an add on if they needed it.

Yeah.. I mean that's cool.. adding stuff if people want it... but what i
mean is like holding a little private auction with people when the reserve
isn't met, instead of redoing it on ebay. I do quite a bit of stuff on ebay,
buying and selling... And I think that Shipping should be clearly stated as
a fixed rate, OR stated as "exact cost" or "exact cost + $3 handling" or
something of that nature so that people dont feel ripped off.
