Is any body out there building the Deans Marine DUKW? I would like to
exchange ideas/suggestions on axles and drive shafts. Thanks.

I have often thought about their dukw. But I am going to be converting the 1/35 Italeri DUKW. there is plenty of room for some small rc equipment in it. Have you thought about using bruiser components in your Dukw or axles from a Tamiya semi? A front axle could easily be made if you don't care if it has a diferential in it. sealing the driveshafts would be easy. do it like on a real one. there are some detailed pictures on the Web of Dukws in private hands.
