OT A Bad Year

Back in April, I lost my Brother to Lou Gehrigs.He was 57.Nine years older than me on the same day.
Today, between 8 am and 11 am, I lost my Mother. Heart Failure will be the cause.
In the last 4 months, I've lost them both. 2008 has not been a good year.
Wages dropped 10,000 at least, and now this.
As my late Mother always said.." We must bear this with Christian fortitude ".
I hope I can live to her expectations.

The TBW has had a bad week... :mad:

We had to do a fast road trip earlier this week and stopped off for gas in Pasco, Wa (Tri Cities) only to be served something OTHER than Gas... :censored:

After a tow off the freeway, 4 hours in the garage (tank drain, new fuel filter, new plugs).. and a sample from the tank that looks like strong tea.. they got the car running again.

I'm currently fighting to get the car sorted and a claim through the gas station's insurance....

Im very sorry to hear of your losses. I've been feeling sorry for myself lately as I recently found out Im losing my job of 13+years. Worse, it doesnt look like I will be able to find a job at a wage that will alow me to keep my home. On top of this my truck is on its last leg(207,000miles) and my back has been acting up again. But, when you hear of others troubles,especially ones who loose family, it reminds me that there are worse things that could happen and I should be happy for what I've had. Good luck to you and remember, your mother and brother would want you to be happy.
