I just got some Nitro from my local Hobby Store, and it has a yellow color
to it. Normally it is clear. They could not explain the difference to me so
does anyone out there know? It smells a bit different too. Haven't tried it
yet.Are there different types of nitro?

I had a similar problem recently from my supplier.
When I queried him, he said "It's always yellow" I wasn't going to argue
with him but I know for sure it was clear the last time. I still haven't
found the answer tho

As I understand it,the yellow is always there, sometimes in larger
quantities than others.
When you believed the nitro was clear, it would still have had a slight
yellow tint to it (obviously nowhere near the colour you have now).
I think that the yellow die is put into the nitro as an indicator. If it
turns purple, it is highly explosive.

I buy quite a bit of Nitro (5 gallons a month) and sometimes it's very clear
and sometimes it's yellowish... In any event it all gets yellow when it gets
a little sun on it.

5 gallons of 100% nitro is 125.00+shipping (usually about 25USD). Klotz
synthetic is $17.00 a gallon if you buy a 30 gallon drum and that includes
shipping. Methanol is free by comparison at any where from $1.50 to $2.00 a
gallon (in 55 gallon drums).

You sell good weather? ... how much is it??.. I'll take a whole week
for starters... then we'll work from there.. I'll be expecting
discounted rates for bulk buy, as I'm sure many of us will chip in..
If you can get it through UK customs without too much import duty, it
would be appreciated...
