I have the E-flite LP5DSM transmitter. After I bought it I found out that it is only a 1mW transmitter. Where can I find a schematic to make a built-in booster that will boost the output to at least 70mW?

You did not say where you live but there are laws limiting the output. Is 70mw legal where you live?
Consider that most homes have dozens of transmitter there may be several Billion Transmitters in each country. If everyone had 70 MW of power it would be a mess.
Also why do you need 70MW, your receiver must suck.
www.ramseykits.com sells a 1 watt booster for $55.

How far away are you flying? The 1mW will give you a lot of range - go ahead and do a range check to see just how far it really does work. Just keep walking until you can't control it any more.

If you're trying to fly a "real" model real far away, you bought the wrong tool. Get a DX6i instead. But if you're flying a parkie, it's perfectly adequate.

Booster will have the bandwith the size of an interstate highway. Not a got idea.

Well, I said my transmitter is 1mW. Since I wrote the 'm' small and the 'W' big I though it would be understandable as 1 milli Watt and I want it to be about 70 milli Watt. I think a DX6i has 100 milli Watts. The E-flite transmitter comes with an indoor heli. I bought it thinking I would be able to use it outdoors too but 1 milli Watt is not enough to be even a park flyer. That's why I would like to boost the transmitter since it is a DSM2 transmitter.

I did realize that I bought the wrong transmitter AFTER I bought it. I just try to do some damage control. :D
Besides, when I fly parkies, sometimes I loose them for a second or two and then they are very small specks in the sky. Most of the time I recover but I need the transmitter to reach the plane.

I checked it out. Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it is only good up to 1ghz and the DSM2 transmitter is 2.4ghz.

Do a search on BBA-519, that's what I would start with
But again, like Ron said, be careful doing it, if not done properly it will radiate all over the place

Thanks, Marc, that is exactly what I was looking for. It has an output of 50mW which is half of what I read the DX6i has but should be ample for me.

does the dx7 too have that much power out put ? 100mW ?

This will be a SERIOUSLY difficult project.

Non-Europe DX7s put out 100mW, the X9303 is more but opinions vary on exactly how much. I haven't been bothered measuring mine.
