Hi all,
I am looking for a cheap working socket 7 (super7) MATX motherboard only with on board audio, video, serial, parrallel, usb P/2 (KB and Mouse) with 3 memory banks of 168 pins SDRAM for PC100 so I can put up to 768 Mb rams min 2 banks for up to 512 Mb could also work...maybe a std ATX borad would fit but it would have to be small physically!

Anyone?

P.S. Here are some brand names that use to make these:
Acer, Asus, Amptron, Giga-byte, Pc chips, Tekram to name a few.

Plz post your reply here or pm me with your brand / model number and approx $ for this ol P1 you may ask for it, some P3 might fit the task if it have the processor with the mobo since I have none..

Thanks for reading me mine just burn out (Tekram super 7 overclocked it too much) and I have limited space for installation and used it for flight sim under win 98, I'll try to post a pic later on...

I have many AMD socket 7 CPU's / mem/ parts and don't want to throw them away.

I'm VERY flexible on those prices. Just want to see the stuff put to good use.

I have an older tower that I pulled the powersupply out of awhile back. I could pull the side cover off and see what it is. I think it was a 400 or 700 mhz processor in it. Worked fine other than the audio drivers or something like that. I'd part it out to you cheap if you are interested. Shoot me a PM and I can get some specs for you if so.

Thanks,
Randy

Edit did some checking......this is the tower. Its an ATX with a P2

http://developer.novell.com/yes/47879.htm

Has 2 128 sticks of ram on it
5 pci
1 isa
1 agp
printer
serial
line in, out, mic
2 usb
p/2 for the keyboard and mouse
video card with the joystick plug (3d force b32 plus
unkown ethernet card

Like I said I'd pull it out and sell it cheap as it is doing me no good other than taking up space. I had actually thought about taking it to the local computer guy and see about getting some trade in value on it on some more ram for my laptop. I'd rather pass it on to someone who could make use of it. Let me know.

Incase ya don't find one on here you could try this place:

http://www.repc.com/

I believe they ship and they have a few warehouses full of used stuff. They have really good prices. You'd have to call but last time I was in there they had all kinds of P1 Boards.

Xwing
