Looks like this heli is dead in the water..even chaosrc.com has pulled it off their website. May she R.I.P.

Funny, Gravity hog, now Nitro shark is banned for life! Just for making a account and bashing chaos rc and starting a bunch of cross posting in other threads!

hmm, lets see, There are CAD drawings of the helicopter, Pictures of head parts, and test videos of the helicopter, the rotor head on other helicopters.. How is that not usfull?

im getting the feeling that a 500 version may not be coming out at all now. No one talks or gives us any updates about this. i think i will be looking at getting a protos now instead.

Good to see this is moving at last - still moving VERY VERY slowly though. RCer missed the boat with the Dragonus 450 and I am worried they are going to make the same mistake with the 500... infact I think they have made that mistake already.

The other mistake I am worried about is not quickly getting good distribution particularly in the UK. I order my 450 parts from Australia which is bonkers really.

Problem is if you take tooooo long you miss the boat and other manufacturers have already established themselves in the market and by then it's too late to make an impact. This is what I am most worried about.

The D500 will be a great heli, when it get's here. But will it be too late to be a real success and make a real impact?
