I have owned a Tamiva Hummer for about 7 years now, I have maintained regular mantenence on it from day one. Numerous upgrades, Tekin Rebel ESC, Ball Bearings, 4" Kyosho Shocks with custom mounts I made out of aluminum at all 4 corners, Hpi 2.2 rims w/Dirt Hawgs tires and raised the body up high to clear the tires. QUESTION IS THIS, I have a Magnetic Mayhem 22T Single (my 2nd in this truck), Probably 1 year old, they both Worked Great for years!!. I have recently bought a Trinity Speed Gems Modified Sapphire 17T single, when I installed in the truck after following all nesessary break in procedure's, my truck has NO GUT'S at all in the low end, yea I do see a difference in overall top end but now where near the tire spinning wheel launches I get with the Kyosho 22T single, I mean I do not race the truck, just back yard bash, I need the low end more than top end, I use a 16 tooth pinion with both motors and it's the lowest you can run in the truck, I even called tower hobbies and requested a new motor because I thought it was defective, they replaced it with a new one and guess what same thing. I use Regular 6 cell 1800mah batteries which are relativly new about 1 1/2 yrs old. Can you please tell me why this is, as far as I know a the 17T single should have a lot more bottom end than a 22T single. That's what I have read in all the articles, single winds for low end power and the lower the turns the hottor the motor???.
