Houston based Topaz S takes off !

I threw my new Topaz S at the local park about an hour ago. I would like to say the Topaz turned on a dime but saying it turned on a half dollar would be more accurate. I have been flying my Pike Pefect for the last few weeks so getting used to the Topaz will take some time. It is currently balanced at 90 millimeters from the leading edge. I may try moving it back a bit to see if it helps. I have plenty of throw in the rudder. The Topaz will fly in it's first contest this Sunday in Austin, TX. Hope the ASF pilots are ready !

I sold the Hawk fuse and short kit to Keith Blair and he built the Hawk. He still has it and it flies great. If I told you I was responsible for getting you promoted and transferred back to civilization, would you build me a Hawk wing and stab ?????
