If it was a MB plan it should be listed in the website shop, but I couldn't find it there. When a magazine changes hands, the old stock doesn't always survive.

Hi there jimmi12.
Yep. I've got the plans & the magazine. It was issue June 2003.
And look I'm in Brisbane too.
If you live anywhere near Nundah you can pick them up, or if you PM me your address I can mail them to you. A copy that is.
Cheers.
Paul.

James,
If you decide to build this model, start collecting suitable plastic kits immediately. Hobby stores might have only 2-3 suitable kits, buy them straight away, let them restock and repeat until you have enough to make the flight deck look busy.
Good luck, Glynn

What is the over-all length of this model , what scale aircraft would suit ?

arrow, if I recall its built to 1/72, however some clever adaptation and artistic licence could half scale it to 1/144

Was just in a Toy are Us and in there small metal car sections they were selling a WW!! aircraft sets all painted up and redady to be put on you flight deck - That had a Zero and Duantless Dive bomber (in early wwII paints - like Midway - red dots on the stars and the zero looked like the a6m2 series)
Well I have to beleive there are more version available - be nice to find a
wildcat/val combo - all you would need is a torpedo bomber and you would have a full deck. I think they were $5-7 a pair.
Happy modeling,
Rich

"Ignorance might be bliss" but the Bodega Bay model is 1/144 scale.
I'd also use plastic aircraft kits as metal ones might add too much top weight and so make the model less stable.

Timo, down-sizeing due to increasing fuel costs. Have you any idea the cost of running a 5hp motor these days ?!?!!!!! :( Thanks Ghost & Glynn:)

academey and italeri do a range of 1/144 scale kits, though an F4 corsair and an F6 Helcat will be small in that scale, a 1/144 B25 was only 4 inches across the span

There is a card kit for a Wildcat on
http://www.marcle.co.uk/catap29.html
which is not the right scale by a large margin, but, using a scanner and printer, can be.

There is also a thread on here about proofing card/paper using CA.
