Well, here is one, with its owner, Scott Wells (he has 5 or 6 of them.) And there is some more info and a couple of pictures at: https://ssl11.chi.us.securedata.net/pacificsailplanes.com/merchantmanager/product_info.php?products_id=2

Here are some pictures of my second War Eagle. Its a couple of years old and has been flown a lot so its not remotely pristine but it is still quite capable. This weekend it flew in a small contest and beat a Supra, an Ava, two Houston Hawks and an unlimited ship built around a set of NYX wings, being beaten only by a well flown Onyx JW.

Very nice, I really think the war eagle would be interesting with out the poly dyhedral and flap/ailerons place in there.

You'd have to talk to Amos about that. I haven't seen an actual kit but my understanding is that Amos pre-builds the spar so it will be done right. I don't know if that includes the poly break or not. I will say that this is the strongest poly wing I've encountered. Takes pedal to the metal launches with ease.

The spar's all spruce, and there's a lot of it. I watched Chuck in NC build his while he was in Houston. The wing at the root is very thick to accomodate all that spruce. It's a sound design with a lot of thought put into it. I still prefer thinner wings and carbon spars... but that's just me.
Nice looking models. I think Chuck's is still for sale.
