Hey Guys:
I am thinking of buying this plane. I have search but have found no info about it other than what is on the Roedel website. I also downloaded the English manual for it.
Anyone know about this plane? How does it fly? Are there better, cheaper planes in the 5m range?
I intend to install a motor and folding prop in the nose.

Last weekend I bought the Roedel Ventus at the Penscola aerotow. I will start a new construction thread soon over on the ezone.

Nah, not tonight. I'm finishing a slimer, so it will be a couple of weeks before I tackle the Big'un.
By the way, where is the replacement for Riverfront Stadium located?

Warren bought my last one in stock, more are on the way, If you want one MTT, just email, no sense drooling from afar. Seriously, the Roedel Ventus is a super ship for a not too high price considering what you get in the kit. See my web and download the instructions, in English!
I import thefull lineof roedel.

John, I agree, the Roedel Ventus 2c has a good relation between price and what you get, the problem is the permanent low tide in my hobby account ....:(
Warren, the replacement for Riverfront Stadium is also located on the riverfront, a bit further east, and it's called "Great American Ballpark"

Hey Warren -
Did you start on the Ventus yet? I looked for a thread in the eZone, but could not find it. I too am interested in seeing it - especially when you add the SLS to it.
BTW - if you want to see some full scale soaring in your area, go check out MGSA in Monroe, GA. My parents still live on a small private airport east of Monroe. Most of my youth was spent at the airport. I did a lot of the towing when I got old enough and before I moved away.
Thanks,
Keith Sessions

Yup, I just started the Ventus this week. I am posting pics and diary entries on the Electric Sailplanes section. The url is: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98625
I will check out the Monroe airport - thanks for the tip. I have noticed their ads for skydiving and flying lessons.
