My old XP computer died along with all its loaded software. I have tried to download FMS onto my new Vista with no success.

Can anyone give me any tips as to which FMS version to try and what to do to make it work?

Thanks, Jim

You have to install a .dll file into Vista.
You can retreive this file from the net.
If your new PC is sytem64 then you have to get an extended version
of that file.

If your new PC only has USB ports, you have to create a ghost comport
(old D-sub). There's nothing to install , you just need to create a new
port. Then write a little patch files using NOTEPAD.

If your new PC has an Nvidia card, you're going to get flashing screen.
To get around that, you can download Virtuall PC. Run Virtual PC in
Vista then install XP in VPC. Then install FMS in XP. :p
