Here... if you listen to the B400 sound on CV.. it's the same as the HBFP! :)
Download this small file... I recorded the real B400 sound.
Replace the old heli.wav in models/blade 300 3D/wavdata with this new one.
Opps.. they don't allow WAV attachments.. grab it here:
Right click and save as...

What did you do to get it to play at the right pitch in Clearview? I posted this in the Clearview forum:
"This has been bugging me for a year. When I try to use a sound file I've recorded, I save it as Stefan has recommended - 11025, 8 bit, mono. 1.375 second - longer, shorter - no difference.
I've even tried other bitrates, frequencies, etc., but this still happens.
When I load up CV, the sound seems like it's slowed down about 50%.
I've gone into my sound editing program - Adobe Audition - and sped it up, slowed it down, pitch-corrected, pitch-bent...it gets closer, but it starts sounding very artificial.
Any suggestions? I'm recording my SA at 2800rpm."
Ken responded, saying that it needs to be recorded with the motor at 50%, but it seems that if CV is slowing the pitch down that would make it worse.
Thanks.

I just spun up at 50% or so and recorded a few seconds... with my mic/pc/soundcard using Cool Edit (similar to Audition)... I just set it to MONO and 22K or so. Seems to sound ok.

Man its sounds just like the real one. I wish I could get it to fly like the real one, others have but wont post it here. Nice work.

I can replace the ClearView B400 sound with yours, if you let me. Also, I am interested to try your B400 params file and can include it as well since you say it is closer to how B400 flies.

Sure sounds good (no pun intended).. I'll look later tonight and reply with my parameters.. I have a little more tweaking to do to get it JUST right. :) But I am only tweaking with the easy model setup.. will those numbers give you enough to go on?

Sure. I can also tweak params.txt if you tell me what you feel needs to be changed. Just e-mail me at support.

Stephan.. info sent!
In case here is the info too....

Hey... here's the better Blade 400... plus add my sound it seems pretty good... and for common reference I used the regular Esky USB remote (not my Spektrum) for you to fly and see how it feels.
Here's the settings in Easy setup
35 20
3000 30
2.4 0.7
I know they are 'wrong' for real life.. but the Blade 400 'feels' like these settings using a standard non-programmable USB transmitter to give you an idea on the feel.

Thanks, will include the sound in the next version. I will see what I can change in params.txt so the B400 flies more like this.
