Here are a few pics of my latest project. I'm running a Neu 1521 3d 6.7 gearbox, 12s 5000 thunderpower lipos and an apc 25 X 12.5 prop. Around 85 amps and 18.2 lbs ready to fly. I only have 1 flight on the plane so far but it seems to be a winner. The plane is built very nice and the price is right. I changed out the 2 elevator servos in the tail to 1 pull pull 5955 servo. This made balancing the plane easier and saved a little weight. I hope to have some video soon.

Mark,

Two of my club mates have this yak, both running DL-50s and one has the magic hand Sukhoi running a DA-50. Excellent flight characteristics and this thing loves to hover. Your AUW is a little heavy above 18 pounds so i want to share their experience.
The landing gear plate will rip out easily if you land a little heavy. all three have had to re-glue theirs now atleast once and one having to re-glue it twice. so make sure with your AUW you grease every landing. Other than that, you'll love this plane!
Cheers!

I got a few more flight on my plane now. The castle 85 wasn't enough so I put a spin 99 in. I ran it with the apc 25 X 12 prop and got 74 amps with my clamp on meter and got 74 amps with the spins on board meter. This prop works very well. Then I tryed a Vess 26B prop and got 72 amps on my meter and 90 amps with the spins. This prop has a little less speed but boy its a stump puller for sure. I really like this prop and I think you guys swinging the 25 x 12 prop can probably swing this one as well if not than the 26A would work.

The rudder arm comes in the kit but you have to buy the gold hub seperate from airwild.
