Tim those look amazing!
Got any videos?
Were they from kits or scratchbuilt?
Very great attention to detail!

they are all scratch built using balsa and thin ply the bh7 and SRN6 twin prop are models that i have bought from other moddelrs so credit must go to them scratch buildingis by far the best method for modle building as the timber can be sanded into any shape where as kits are standerd shapes and they have limitations due to manufactoring process but they are a good place to start as for videos i have one of my SRN6 mk1S first outing but i was in a small pool and the steraring on the the SRN6s in famous for not being that good you can find it at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-VFQ6R7WeUY
also a short video of my Griffin 600

could someone explain how the skirt looks like from the underside cuz I got real confused.. these models you made are of great accuracy and amazingness! btw

so are the skirts just inflatable or are they one-layer typ?

a question that is asked all to often i do have a picture of the underside of my griffn 600 which has a bag skirt it would be the same for all bag skirts see
http://www.flickr.com/photos/19759955@N07/2518185766/. The bag skirt is sealed all the way round and the hole you can see is where the air goes to the plenum chamber which will make the craft hover the bag skirt then keeps the air frm escaping too quickly. For the SRN6 twin prop its a bag skirt wiht fingers on and above each finger is a hole this is instead of a hole in the hull see attchment also the following may be of some use http://www.model-hovercraft.com/srn6/srn6skirt.html
hope this helps

thanx HOverTim for the pics:d , so if i got you right, you have only one hole to both inflate the skirt and fill the plenum chamber?

you could say that yes the pic i linked for you is an intergrated machine so one prop does the lift and thrust on most bag skirts the lift if split to inflate the skirt and go to the plenum chaber see http://www.rc-hovercraft.co.uk/infoframes.html the best way to learn about bag skirts to go get a kit from http://www.modelhovercraft.co.uk/index.php?q=65.html wiht the right setup these kits go very well its a good place to start
