Wow... :)

A long time in the making but finally here, we have a rc hovercrafts forum people - its hover time! I know alot of people requested a hovercraft forum before me, and finally we got up enough votes to make it happen. This is very exciting - something different to try out.

So now that its here, lets get some use out of it. I'll be posting something I've made shortly, and I hope everyone else will post their hovercrafts!

I'm also trying to organize a contest with the help of the admins.
The winner will get something *EXTRA special :D :D

Please post threads only related to RC hovercrafts, Skimmers, or other ground effect type vehicles in this new forum.

Looking forward to seeing all of your cool vehicles! :cool:

Thanks to everyone involved in getting this hovercraft forum started. This is going to be very cool and I'm sure their are a lot of great ideas out there to expand this new realm. With EDF, the sky is the limit!

yes - post your WIGs! I did say ground effect vehicles, so wing in ground effect like this should be able to count too:

This is great news. I've been fascinated by hovercraft since childhood. I've experimented a bit with a couple of quite successful prototypes and will be watching closely. Bring it on!!

Heheh!! Nice idea.....anything that'll scare the bejeezus out of a cow is alright with me...'cause they scare the hell out of me :eek: . Unfortunately my dabblings with hovercrafts have always gotten torn down to build something else or parts returned to their original donor so I have nothing to show for it :( so I'm counting on you guys for new ideas :cool:

About time :D :cool: may I sugest you all contribute to a links and plans sticky to act as a starting way point. Theres a few in my waterplanes.... Free plans etc sticky that your welcome to copy across to get you going! ;)
