Anyone have any info on a plane called the Swan? It's a derivative of the Duck. I've tried search and had no luck. Any info would be helpful as I've been given one and it needs a bit of repairs. Thanks Jim, I'll be good to her.

I found the builder. Mike Stump built this plane as well as several others. Aside from the fuse the plane is his own creation. He has been in contact with me and gave me some much helpful info so far. The airfoil on mine is a SD-7080, 100" span and it was built for TD flying. Here's a few pictures of the re-build so far. Don't worry Jim, she'll be good as new soon!

DWELLS: LMAO, that's the aero-tow cart for my 4M discus. I used the wife's T-Maxx tires on it. I kind of ran out of work bench space again. You would think 5 would be enough. :o
Steve: It's a 100" bird. (2.5m)

Not yet. I left the wing servos in. All I really have to do is make a new servo tray, install the RE servos and of course new push rods. I'm moving them as far forward as possible. I may add a ballast tube as well. Then coat or re-paint the wings and fuse. I'm hoping within the next two weeks to be flying it. I may need to find someone with a Futaba 9C Super to help me do the programming. Today it was windy and I was really wishing I would have just flown it and restored it later over the winter.

I thought while I ate dinner I would post an update. The fuse is now sanded and primed. I like to hit it once so all of the defects show up better. Now it just needs filled again and re-sanded and primed again. Oh joy, I hate sanding! :( The wings are being covered now. (I just needed a lunch break) Yellow on top, black and white on bottom. For some reason I see yellow quite well at a distance so it gets used a lot on my sailplanes. Most people don't like yellow. Maybe it's because I use opaque instead of translucent. I may re-cut the flap LE's so that I can run full span ailerons. They're thin and look to be sheeted foam just like the wings, so I'm weighing the chances of disaster against sucess. I'll post so pics later of the progress. Dinner is done and I want to get back to koting the second wing half. I may leave the fuse in primer as I'm starting to like the gray color.
