Happened to see HL's article in the latest Model Aviation mag (& as well RCG's Jim T Graham pic who is apparently an integral HL employee--Hmmm !) & thier two page add which among other items shows its large Gee Bee.
When I received my Gee Bee this spring it came w/ no tail wheel cover as pictured then---& now, however comments from HL to buyers at that time I believe was that it wasn't going to be provided.
Now if this was a $50 foamie I wouldn't be writing this, but, has any purchaser out there of this beautifull model received thiers w/ the tail whl cover ?
If not, why is it still being advertised as a part of the kit ??
Has anyone gotten a cover after getting the kit ? (that would be legitimately nice)

Any comments appreciated.

Our original shipment of Gee Bee Senior Sportsters arrived with what the manufacturer thought was an "improvement". Instead of the tailwheel and wheelpant, they added a machined aluminum tailwheel unit with a sprung tailwheel. All of the original shipment came in with this tailwheel unit.

Our follow up shipment of Gee Bee's will revert to the original tailwheel with the wheelpant and there will be a battery hatch added to the upper front of the fuselage for easier battery replacement.

Thankyou Mike for your explanation---much appreciated !
The sprung tail wheel is nice but the spring that came on mine was WAY to heavy for the application offering zero compliancy so I replaced it.
How does a purchaser of the initial batch of planes get a whl cover as it is a subtle esthetic item that really belongs with & sets off this plane ?
