Hi all,
This is a link for my Passer Thermo flying over the snow above Palmerston North. Shame there was no wind as only could get circuits.

Hi Stripy,
I am a slope nut and used to fly foamies, but have found that the composite mix slopies perform a lot better. If you like have a look at r2hobbies.com the speedo is a great model, if you progress to big scale models then aero-fever.net is the place to go for good value for money.

Hehe it's just ahame I am really not a good flier. And I seem to be alot more interested in powered planes or gliders rather than slope soarers. Where abouts do you normally slope? I just built a 3D Yak 54 which I might be able to keep in the air for 5 seconds if I am lucky. Haven't maidened yet....

I fly around the palmerston north area, if you have a look at www.activegear.co.nz you will see a section called manawatu slope soarers. this show our flying sites and lots of bits in the building room.
