DX6i, FSM, and SmartPropoPlus Issues.

im trying to connect my new dx6i to my computer to play with sims like fms and others that i can use it with... but right now im just trying to get fms to work.

ive connected the stereo male to male from the transmitter to MIC on my soundcard. installed fms, installed smartpropo, and adjusted everything like i should.. (generic, source=mic), in fms (selected joystick). When i try to calibrate the levels are just middle and the plane flys off and to the left.

I can get noise out of my headphones, i assume this is the noise coming from the tx..

ive read through the smartpropo faq and i still cant get it to work..

EDIT: its working now with the stereo cable!
windows is screwy about muting the audio channels and i think thats what it was... i would fire up the sim and it would mute the line in channel i have designated.

now to uninstall everything and reinstall for every flight sim..
wanna test out a couple more, G4, clearview, etc etc.

G4 needs its own dedicated interface - won't work with the audio connection
