We are a group of students from Nanyang Technological University, working on the UAV coaxial helicopter project. Our mission is to implement the autopilot and also we may want to implement some robust algorithm instead of the PID in the autopilot now.

We have come across Kestrel , Piccolo and micropilot.

But currently Kestrel does not support other than fixed wing applications.

Piccolo do have helicopter solutions. We have established contacts with them. But their replies through email seems to be slow. Do they allow us modify the program so that we may want to implement some robust algorithm instead of the PID in the autopilot now.

Micro pilot also haven't replied to us.

Could you please help us?

thanks in advance.

Might be because you are overseas, our Commerce Department doesn’t allow for shipment of this type of technology to certain countries.

I noted your remark about NTU which I visited lst February.
We are in contact with a student from NTU about an Heli project.

Are you that person?
