I placed an order with Hobby-Lobby on 6/18/08. It was for an item in the clearance hangar that I was told was in stock. The first call the customer service gentlemen cancelled my original order and put in a new order an assured me it would probably ship that afternoon. The email responses have been unhelpful, the representatives said the shipping delay would be about three days because of the inventory change. There was a coupon offered for 10% off an order placed within the next month, but I dont see myself placing another order if I cannot get my original one.
It has now been 15 days(11 business) and I do not think I am any closer to getting my order. I have not recieved notice of shipping and my credit card has not been charged.
This is my first order from Hobby Lobby and I am not happy. I am 26 and have many years and good deal of disposable income to pour into this hobby. I have heard so many good things about the quality, speed, and service at Hobby Lobby. I know this is probably an isolated case, but it is my only order with Hobby Lobby, so it is hard not to judge.
It would be helpful to me if I was given a clue as to what was going on with my order. The customer service reps have only said they have no control when orders go out and cannot give me an estimate on when something will be done about this. I feel I have been overly considerate and patient in this situation, but that does not seem to be working.
Please help me or point me in the right direction to get some answers.
