1997 Suzuki Bandit 1200s w/ ABS
You can get over 40mpg and enjoy high performance.
I have owned this motorcycle for about 2 years and it runs flawlessly. It is not a show winner by any means as it had been dropped on both sides by the previous owner(s). There is some cosmetic damage - scratched fairings etc. but the engine and all mechanics run great.

The motor is 1,200cc inline 4 cylinder that makes a claimed 116hp and is an absolute torque powerhouse with a bullet-proof reputation (motor is a large bore version of the 1st generation GSXR-1000). Air/Oil cooled = simple and reliable.
Corbin Seat
Bike has a full new Barnett clutch pack and springs, New DID gold chain and sprockets, New rear tire, New rear brake pads, Rebuilt front forks and seals, rebuilt master brake cylinder. I just did a Valve check/adjustment and Oil change.

The odometer reads 17,000 miles, but I do not think this is accurate as none of the gauges worked when I acquired the bike (they all do now). I bought this bike as a commuter as I was enjoying a 90mile round trip commute. Now I commute 12 miles round trip, so I ride my new Ducati. My plan was to slowly refinish the Bandit, but now it is just taking up room. Like I said, the mechanics are in great shape, but the body could use a little TLC. The frame is straight and the bike tracks and runs very stable and comfortable. I have ridden this bike on a few 200+ mile trips and it is great.

I can send specific photos upon request,
I have clean title
$2,100 OBO is a steal for a Bandit like this and priced to sell in the current cosmetic condition.
I prefer a local sale as I do not think it would be worth it to ship. I will assist a buyer in shipping if they really want it.
I am happy to answer any questions,
Keith

if I may, this is a really good bike for the price.I've been ridin my brothers lately[same year diff color].They get excellent milage[save$$] and are comfortable to ride with power to boot. Not so low slung like some sportbikes are at the handle bars.Surprised your not askin more cuz it looks to be definetly worth it.Which they are!Good luck!

Thanks for the good words. I would happily accept more if anyone offers! :D
I am not looking to get rich off the sale and think it is a fair price to sell quick and give someone a nice bike. It does have a few road scars but still looks decent and runs great! I see others selling for mid to high $3,000 range in great condition, so maybe I am a bit low, but I am OK with that.
I would be happy to discuss the bike on the phone (and send additional photos) with anyone who is interested

thanks again,
Keith
