One of the largest Chemical Companies in the world Dow just announced they are raising prices 20% across the board due to the rapid jump in raw crude. http://news.dow.com/corporate/2008/20080528a.htm
Just when the market cooled off with carbon prices your epoxies and other plastic resin systems will follow with the trickle down of rising energy costs and raw feed stock to make product. Better stock up now as your materials and shipping are not getting cheaper. :(

That was the first increase, here was the second 25% for July. So that's 45% in less than 2 months. Oh joy....

This is the most public supplier of raw feedstock to the plastics industry. All of the others are hitting with increases too.

That News article is dated for July 2006.

Regardless, pucker-up. I'll bet it will go up more than the scheduled 20% over time. It has not hit retailers as of yet, but it will.
