After all the work I've put into this car in the last couple of weeks,
I've found a new project and need to sell the 10LSS before I can buy
the new one...
Chassis:
Associated RC10LSS
Magic Motorsports 78t sealed differential spur gear
20t (very fast) and 24t (insanely fast) pinions
HPI pro compound X-Pattern touring tires on HPI 26mm mesh wheels
Futaba S148 steering servo
Adjustable steering tie rods
HPI 200mm Lamborghini Diablo VT body (new, unpainted)
Protoform Grand Prix body (blue, a bit ugly, good for practice)
Full rear shock spring kit (black, silver, and green springs)
Diff and rear shock are freshly rebuilt
Electronics:
Trinity Monster Horsepower Pro motor
Futaba 2PHKA transmitter
Futaba R102JE receiver
Channel 77 crystals
Futaba MC112B ESC (27t minimum, 100A cont., 400A surge, 6-7 cells)
6 cell 3000 mAH NiMH saddle pack with Deans Ultra connectors, Deans
bars, and 12g wire
New everything was around $400. The transmitter is brand new, bought
on 1/25/03, and I still have the original receipt and warranty card.
Top speed with the 24t pinion is somewhere around 50 MPH. As set up
the car is very stable at speed and doesn't have the usual pan car
tendency to spin out every time you think about steering. I set up the
rear shock for a bit of push at top speed and it can be tuned from
mild oversteer to mild push by changing rear preload. The car is a ton
of fun to drive both in a straight line and on fast tracks, but I
really like building and want to pick up an RS4 to play with.
Unfortunately the wife has decreed that I am allowed only 2 cars at a
time, so I have to sell either the 10LSS or my Micro RS4. The Micro is
too much fun to take to work, so the 10LSS will have to go to a new
home to make room in the garage.
Ready to run- $300
Rolling chassis w/ steering servo- $150
Radio and electronics aren't for sale without the rest of the car.

Wait until everyone sees the new project. It involves a 12 turn motor
